I can't keep up on the housework around here and I feel like it's all caving in on me!
I've always been housework challenged. I don't focus on one task at a time well, and wasn't raised with a mom who kept a clean home at all. Now, at three years into being a single mom, I don't think I'll ever catch up.
A little clutter wouldn't bother me, but I'm crawling over stuff to get to my bed...the laundry just keeps coming. My kids will help when I give them a task, but they're young and at school until it's dark out now because I'm working full time... so I don't ask for much. They don't even actually flush the toilet after themselves, and I can't follow them around all day. I feel like I'll be sick if I have to ask them to pick up their socks one more time. The toilet is broken, I find clean clothes in the hampers...what about all these socks to match!!
I need some advice on how other moms pull this off, at least so that their houses aren't stinky and they can walk around.
