No Father

My daughter is 4 and has no clue who her dad is because he was off on drugs and going to jail, well now he is in prison and has never seen her.
I haven't dated or brought any guys around her since she's been born except my best friend who happens to be my boyfriend now. I am trying to date him and move in with him but I'm not quite sure it's the right thing to do. My daughter absolutely loves my boyfriend but maybe moving in is too soon? What would you do?
