Young Single Mom Stuck in a Hole

I am 24. I left my son's father 3 years ago. He is now 5. I've never had my license, I live with my parents, I don't work, his father doesn't pay child support and to top it off I'm getting kicked out in August. I don't even know how to start my life on my own. Where do I start how can I get help and what important things do I need to do?

Excellent advice by Sunny!

In addition to praying, ACT. If God is the one who gets you off your bum it is usually kind of painful. If you are moving, it is easier for Him to direct your steps. Pick ONE thing that you are going to do. Say it's get your license. Do ONE thing to get it. Ask a friend to teach you, take your permit test, then do the next thing. Follow that process for each of the areas you need to address. You will feel better because you are working to change your situation, and that helps you to keep going.

Remember to express gratitude for each step in the process. Expressing gratitude signals that you are ready for the next step in the process. You can do this!!

PRAY!!!! ASK GOD FOR GUIDANCE. SEEK OUT LOCAL HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES. APPLY FOR LOW TO NO INCOME HOUSING. PUT YOUR CHILD IN DAY CARE. GO BACK TO SCHOOL. GET A PART- TIME JOB. GO TO YOUR LOCAL FAMILY COURT...APPLY FOR CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT. PRAY!!!!!
